Generation WE

I am a part of a generation (the millennials) that is bigger than any of it’s predecessors. Some would say that we are lazy, that we don’t think for ourselves, that we aren’t respectful, that we don’t care.

I beg to differ. We want to make a difference in this world. We want to help people. We want to learn. We want to better ourselves and those around us. We ask hard questions because we are searching for the truth. We want change from the normal, mundane, routine, ordinary that has been excepted for too long. We care!

We have power. Just look at this last election. Record numbers of young people showed up to put a black man in the Oval Office, however you feel about that you cannot deny the significance. It had never been done before. Now it has and we were a huge part of it.

We are on the front lines, helping people. We use are unique gifts and talents. We create organizations that use consumerism and capitalism to benefit those who are in need. We have a unique perspective on what’s going on in the world.
